The CABLESPAN 2300 Universal Telephony Distribution system embraces a variety of access terminals designed to service both residential and business applications. Single-family residences, shared-tenant units, and business and industrial sites can all be accommodated.

A family of remote service units (RSUs) delivers integrated CATV, telephony and IP data services over a standard coaxial drop at the subscriber's location.

Available in both single-line and multi-line versions, these units can accommodate basic telephone service (POTS), IP telephony, ISDN, high-speed Internet data access, local area networking (LAN)-to-the-home and other data services. Present and future needs such as telecommuting, transaction-based or online services, videophone, home security and energy management can all be addressed. All units are designed to support EXPRESS/path™Internet protocol (IP) data, an integrated high-speed data solution for providing a full complement of broadband services to the subscriber without requiring an overlay network.

Growth regions in the United States, economically developed countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America, and emerging nations around the globe are demanding new and better telecommunications and data services. To meet subscriber's needs, broadband service providers are looking for advanced telephony distribution systems that can improve the basic telecommunications infrastructure while providing integrated data services.

The CABLESPAN 2300 Universal Telephony Distribution system is a NGDLC system that accommodates service deployment needs ranging from basic telephony to advanced network services, including high-speed data. A high-density, modular design and advanced architecture permit the CABLESPAN system to meet a broadband service provider's needs for growth and rapid service introduction. Providers can use the CABLESPAN platform to deliver a wide range of both switched and non-switched services-ranging from POTS to ISDN to T1 and E1, and high-speed IP data as well as Voice over IP (VoIP). The system can economically serve from as few as six to nearly 4,000 subscribers per system.

The CABLESPAN system is just one part of a comprehensive Tellabs network access and transport solution that gives you the tools and expertise you need to compete in the broadband services arena. In addition, Tellabs offers its TITAN® 5500 or TITAN 5300 digital cross-connect systems, TITAN 4500GS Global Services Delivery system, and TITAN 6100.

When you are installing the Tellabs CABLESPAN system call upon Winlock for Project Management and other design build applications plus construction services.
